The until-recently-defunct "Mobile Fidelity Labs" audiophile album vinyl pressings were not only analogue, audiophile masterpieces and connoisseur delights, they have become true pieces of audio history and lore. These majestic recordings received a meticulous and laborious treatment like no other recordings in the entire history of the recorded sound. They are characterized by the massively extended dynamic and frequency range, mastering from the very first generation of original master tapes, almost compulsive attention paid to the detail and integrity of the pressing, and the highest quality of the material (only the "virgin-", audiophile-grade vinyl was used, and most of the titles were pressed by RCA/Victor and/or Warner-Pioneer corporations of Japan, both known for their near-obsessive attention paid to the fine sonic detail and audio craftsmanship); a special proprietary technology was used to achieve analogue-like, warm, translucent, radiant, vivid and all-encompassing sound. To this day, many of these recordings remain unsurpassed, delivering music reproduction as close to the actual recording session as possible, without any loss of musical information inherent in the standard practice of mastering from the inferior "production" copies. EVER SINCE THE MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LABS TEMPORARILY CLOSED IN DECEMBER OF 1999 (ONLY TO REOPEN IN 2003), THESE RECORDINGS HAVE BEEN ESCALATING IN VALUE AND DEMAND.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire this great album in its FINEST audio format, no longer in print, and no longer easily obtainable. Finding a still sealed original copy?!?! Forget it – not even a HOPE!!! This may be the last one you will ever see.

Is it a bird….??? Noooooooo!!!! Is it a plane??? Noooooooo!!!! Is it a Superman??? Noooooooo!!!! Is it a (gasp!)…Flying devirginator ?!?!? YOU BET IT IS!!

On the cover of their first (and only) album, Blind Faith slyly presented a color photo of a young, somewhat slightly undressed, lass (a consenting adult, no doubt), toying around with a mysterious flying object looking suspiciously like a 'certain' part of male anatomy [we are not allowed to tell you which one, but we WILL tell you this: it most definitely isn’t an elbow], masquerading as an odd-shaped airplane with an oversized cockpit area. Alas, nobody was fooled (presumably, each member of the buying public either owns - or has experienced firsthand - one of these mysterious-looking objects). Whatever it was, we assure you that the young lady on the cover WASN’T exactly advertising Virgin Airlines ™ when she posed for the cover

Needless to say, the mysterious flying object penetrated the air defenses of the guardians of the public morals, flew in the face of the shocked and offended puritans and met stiff resistance from the social conservatives, causing the embarrassed record label to go limp: within weeks from release, ATCO was forced to je®k, er…yank the offensive cover off the market and replace it with a lame, neutered “politically correct” version showing a nondescript, bland photo of the band members (three erect, one sitting) . Call it a real bad case of HARD landing for ATCO records.

Three big boooos, yikes and hisses to ATCO for the lack of artistic glands. The moral of the story: a bird in hand is worth…a brickload of bad publicity!

(e)           The record almost certainly comers in its original inner, hi-grade MFSL PVC inner sleeve.

(f)            The record is pressed on a beautiful, high-quality, virgin-grade vinyl, which is usually used for audiophile, extended-dynamic-range, half-speed mastered and connoisseur pressings.

(g)          In addition, the record is pressed on a fairly thick, relatively inflexible vinyl.

(h)          Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!
