Description

***Due to holidays I will post this item on 14th March***

Here is another classic rock album from my personal collection. I have always looked after my vinyl LPs assiduously, usually keeping them in sturdy plastic covers, playing them only on quality equipment and definitely never lending them out.

I believe this is a first pressing because I bought it soon after it was released in 1969, also due to the matrix numbers.

Cover - as this has always been one of my favourite albums it has been honoured to spend its 48 years of life in a sturdy plastic cover, hence it is in superb condition. The front, back, spine and edges are almost perfect. However, back then I was obsessed with track and album timings so you will see that I have written them on the inside of the gatefold and on the back.

Inner sleeve - poly-lined paper, originally white, now faded/yellowed.

Disk - still in excellent condition with no scratches or scuffs. The years of sitting in the plastic-lined inner sleeve have caused a ripple effect on parts of the playing surface, which I've tried to photograph. This is only visible in bright light at certain angles and has no noticeable effect on the audio reproduction. UPDATE 6th March: I have just listened to this record all the way through on headphones. There are no jumps and the quality is superb, hardly any background noise. I can't say there are absolutely no clicks but it would be difficult to find better quality audio quality on a vinyl disk.

Matrix numbers and other lead-out groove markings: see photos.

Labels - excellent, some spindle traces around the hole.

Thank you for your interest. This item will be sent by tracked courier in a new extra-strong 650gsm cardboard mailer with 'fragile' sticker. I will remove the disk in its inner sleeve and pack it next to the cover to avoid damage to the cover during transit as far as possible. £20 compensation cover is included in the £3.95 postage price.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I use eBay's Global Shipping Programme for security, reliability, traceability and convenience. Please don't request any other method of postage.
