BLIND FAITH / Blind Faith / Self-Titled 1st LP 825094 Polydor GIRL COVER! NM/NM. Here’s a just-about PRISTINE, PERFECT COPY of this Blind Faith classic debut album release. POLYDOR Records. With the “controversial” GIRL COVER. Not seen very often / scarce. I’ll leave the details and info on the Girl Cover for you to look-up online. It’s of course very interesting. And as I’ve said, the vinyl here is about MINT / MINTY. The jacket is the same almost—NEAR-MINT certainly but really about MINT. I’ve had this record many years, and took very good care of it. ERIC CLAPTON, STEVE “LITTLE STEVIE” WINWOOD, GINGER BAKER & RICK GRECH. All are pioneers in ROCK HISTORY. The photo of The Boys on the back of the jacket are (as-far as I can tell) Rick Grech, Little Stevie Winwood, Ginger Baker and Eric Clapton (starting at far-left going left-to-right.) The guys are a bit “mismatched as-to instruments and what they play for the group, their main thing. Like Clapton on a drum here (at least Ginger Baker is next to Clapton by the Drums—Ginger Baker IS the Drummer); Rick Grech with the microphone (he’s mainly Bass), and Steve Winwood (second from left) is just kind-of chilling there LOL! He looks, shall we say, “under some influence?” Little Stevie looks like, to coin a phrase, like he’s wasted and he can’t find his way home!! Haha! These guys RULED. One of my early favorites.
As well as their other efforts some together some separate. Like Steve’s “Spencer Davis Group” Cream (one of my all time top favorites!) et al. Ginger Baker had a band once, “Ginger Baker’s Air Force” lol!
