Description
Only 500 pressed of this very rare ‘PROMOTIONAL ONLY’ Pink island single. Recorded in 1969 to notify record companies and the media that Island records were moving to Basing street. Recorded by Blind Faith and features Eric Clapton,Ginger Baker,Steve Winwood and possibly Rick Grech though can’t be certain. Tracks are CHANGE OF ADDRESS FROM JUNE 23rd 1969 and SALES OFFICE. 2 Instrumental tracks and being same both sides. The record has just been play tested on a quality PRO-JECT DECK. with a recently renewed ORTOFON CARTRIDGE, and apart from light crackle at the start and on run outs of both sides, plays very well indeed, with no jumps, skips or noticeable surface noise. The 4 pronged centre is still intact. Visually the record and both labels are in a nice clean condition with only very MINOR MARKS AND SOME FAINT SPINDLE MARKS which may be due to removal from the sleeve. Comes in the original PINK ISLAND paper sleeve. LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN A WELL CARED FOR RECORD OF WHICH THERE MAY NOT BE TOO MANY AROUND.
