As the name of the lp suggests, it was the 2nd Stones album. Recorded in both the USA and the UK it was released on the 15th of january 1965, where it reached the top slot in early 1965 and stayed there for 10 weeks.

 The vinyl is wonderfully FLAT & SHINY.
Following a gentle professional vacuum clean, I popped her onto my Focus One deck and turned her up! I wasn't dissapointed at all...The audio was clean and clear with deep bass and clear highs. I noticed only a small amount of background noise-with the only thing to report was a revolutionary pop right at the start of track 1, side 1 and track 1, side 2, but only lasted for around 8 revolutions on side 1 and around 12 on side 2, other than that:*HAND-CLAPPING FINE*...It brough a big smile to my face.
Visually there are light scuff marks to side 1, with side 2 appearing a lot cleaner with only light marks to her....These did not register on playback.

Yep, the original and later banned "BLIND MAN" text cover.
This cover has stood the test of time incredibly well....The front laminated image is in GREAT condition with rich colours and just a few lines of spidering to the laminate-near the opening.
To the back the flipbacks remain in great, solid condition.

The labels are gorgeously deep red in colour and has the all important UNBOXED DECCA. Spindle marks are visible when angled to the light, with almost zero central hole wear! A very nice example indeed.
This is probably the earliest label used on No2 as it has the short top text with just "MADE IN ENGLAND". All labels made during the end of 1965 and later have the long top text.
No publishing info below the Rolling Stones at 6 O'Clock either.
NO WRITING.
Deep CLEAN AND CLEAR groove.
