THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1965 US ISSUE OF BLIND WILLIE JOHNSON EARLY RECORDINGS “BLIND WILLIE JOHNSON 1927-1930” ON THE FOLKWAYS RBF LABEL. RBF WAS THE FIRST LABEL TO REISSUE OLD BLUES RECORDINGS AND THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THESE RECORDINGS WERE MADE AVAILABLE AGAIN SINCE THEIR INITIAL RELEASE ON 78s. THESE RBF LPs WERE VERY HARD TO GET HOLD OF IN THE UK – CONSEQUENTLY THIS ALBUM IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN ANY CONDITION! THE VINYL IS IN PERFECT CONDITION. THE COVER IS IN AMAZING CONDITION.  THE DESCRIPTIVE NOTES BOOKLET BY SAMUEL CHARTERS IS IN ALMOST PERFECT CONDITION. DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!

The Catalogue Number is RBF10 on the US RBF Folkways label.

The record labels are in AMAZING condition with NO wear, NO writing, and ONLY A FEW VERY LIGHT spindle marks! I HAVE PLAYED THIS RECORD ABOUT 20 TIMES SINCE I BOUGHT IT, AND THEN ONLY ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches and NO scuff marks. The SOUND QUALITY reflects the superb vinyl. Overall the record sounds BRILLIANT! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle (apart from what was on the original 78s)! The record must grade MINT and plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!

The heavyweight cover is in AMAZING condition! It has some wear to the spine where the colour has rubbed off in about twenty places leaving small light brown spots. There are NO creases. There is only the SLIGHTEST of edgewear to the open edges.

There is LIGHT wear to the EXTREME corners of the front cover (see picture). The colour has worn away at the EXTREME bottom left corner.

There is wear to the top right corner of the back cover (see picture) but apart from that there are absolutely NO blemishes at all to the back cover.

The cover is firm and strong. NONE of the surface of the cover has rubbed away over the years, there is ZERO ringwear, and NO writing. The cover LOOKS AND FEELS VERY CLOSE TO NEW apart from the blemishes described.

THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE AND LEGENDARY LP TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION! DONT MISS OUT!
