Description

An original copy of the great Blind Willie Johnson’s 1929 78 "You’ll Need Somebody On Your Bond"/"Bye and Bye I’m Goin’ To See The King" (Columbia 14504). 

 

Using the VJM system for grading 78’s, the a-side would grade as V (or good, to use vinyl grading terminology), but unfortunately, the b-side is P, due to patches of wear that have obliterated the grooves over the second half of the song.  The labels are in good condition due to heavy wear and fading.
