I was lucky enough to get from a friend of mine this rare piece of Blink-182 memorabilia. Any of you collectors will certainly know its value and preciousness, as only 50 of these tapes exist.
This is your opportunity to have Flyswatter in your hands, maybe this is the last time you’ll see this amazing item on e-bay, I just can say I’m so sad I have to let it go, but I really need money and I have to sell some rare items I have in my collection, which I started 2 years ago.
This demo tape was recorded in 1993, just a few months after Blink (182) formed, in Scott’s room, and was given to parents and friends and sold at school for $5. Mark and Tom revealed, years later, that about 50 copies of Flyswatter were made, so it is the rarest Blink-182 item in the world. Here’s the track-listing:

The sound is raw (it was just 3 young guys, their instruments and a 4-track!!!), but it is not bad considering it was recorded in a room! You won’t find this original version of the songs any elsewhere!
The tape is blank, with nothing written on it, nor about the songs nor the brand name of the tape (a classic demo tape), and looks a bit old, but is in great shape.
The insert is in perfect condition, it is printed on a heavy, smooth paper, and seems the guys re-wrote the track-listing, as if they were not happy with the result of printing.
All of the tracks are recorded on one side, and if you still have any doubt about this tape to be the original one, read this: each side can contain 22 minutes. All of the songs put together last 21 minutes and a few seconds. So the music fits perfectly the tape, AS ANY OTHER ORIGINAL TAPE.
I can state this item is in very good condition, considering it is almost 13 years old, I’ve only listened to it once to check the sound, and the guy (he’s from Rancho Bernardo – CA) who sold me this was an hardcore fan too, so he kept the tape very carefully since he got it in 1993.
