UK PRIVATE STOCK (PVLP-1017) FIRST PRESSING (December 1976) OF BLONDIE'S WONDERFUL DEBUT LP
Released in 1976 on Private Stock Records. The first single "X Offender" was originally entitled "Sex Offender" but renamed due to reluctant radio play. After disappointing sales and poor publicity, Blondie bought back its contract with Private Stock and signed to Chrysalis Records who re-released the album, along with the new second album Plastic Letters in 1977

Clean, unmarked, factory-fresh labels with just one or two light spindle traces per side
VINYL Visual: NEAR MINT
Apart from one or two superficial light marks and a hairline on Side Two both surfaces shine like-new (these marks have no audio consequence)
VINYL Audio: NEAR MINT
Great sound to this first pressing - crystal clear and sharp, rich and warm with a nice loud cut.
As this copy has seen little use my play-check at loud volume detected no major audio issues of note - just a touch of surface on some of the track divisions (and on the quiet bits of "Attack Of The Giant Ants" and some soft light (non-continuous) background ticks on "In The Flesh' (all probably present from new as this copy is essentially just that)
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT+
Lovely condition - especially for this particular sleeve which, being mostly black, shows wears easily. There are one or two patches of rubbing to the edges/corners but otherwise it's clean, sharp and fresh with no ring and all spine text is clear and bold
