Up for sale original issue of BLONDIE - PARALLEL LINES album. This is the original 1978 issue released by CHRYSALIS RECORDS in the United States. Record number CHR-1192. The record appears to be in excellent condition without any scratches, markings or fingerprints. It looks like it was never played. The album cover is also in excellent shape. It is stil in factory platic wrap. The record sleeve cover is also in mint condition.
Parallel Lines is the third studio album by the American rock band Blondie, released in September 1978 by Chrysalis Records. The album reached #1 in the United Kingdom in February 1979 and proved to be the band's commercial breakthrough in the United States, where it reached #6 in April 1979. As of 2008, the album had sold over 20 million copies worldwide.
Parallel Lines contains several of Blondie's best-known hits, including "Heart of Glass", "Hanging on the Telephone", "Sunday Girl" and "One Way or Another". Six of the twelve tracks were issued as singles, either in the US or the UK. It is notable that the original album version of "Heart of Glass" was replaced with the longer disco version on pressings of the album released as of March 1979.
