"Parallel Lines".....
Hard to find as a picture disc!..
Issued on Chrysalis in 1978 CHP 5001...USA pressing in a die cut card sleeve...Complete with plain card insert...Plain white paper inner sleeve..The outer rim of the picture disc is clear..Some copied had a black outside edge...
Picture discs are hard to grade visually as any scuffs etc get lost amongst the colours!..
As with all my records,I play them all the way through with a Shure cart tracking at 2G...You need to know exactly what you are getting and I am not going to guess how it sounds by a quick glance!..Picture discs of this vintage have a bad reputation for sound quality...Overall this plays pretty good...It's a bit noisey towards the end of the second side but there are no clicks or pops,it doesn't stick or jump and it's not dished or warped..
The sleeve has some age spotting,edge/corner/spinewear and a little discolouring around the edges....Just showing it's age a bit!...
Take it away now for £20.00...OR wait till I drop the price (Which I will do every few days!)..
