This record is in near mint condition. It has only a few faint spindle marks visible on the labels and there are no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage such as stains or fading. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the labels are in superb condition.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are really clean and have little visible in normal light with just a couple of incredibly faint minor lines just about visible when tilted into direct light. There is few more minor light wispy lines visible under bright light but not many and of course nothing remotely sinister. So overall the record is in great shape, has no nasty scuffs, serious marks or blemishes and has a beautiful vivid lustre.
I play tested the record and it plays really well and sounded superb throughout. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is only a minor hint of upward movement in the record arm. The sound produced is superb throughout as I say, with clear, defined audio which has barely a trace of surface noise or interference audible. There is no distortion caused by excessive use and of course there are no skips, sticks or annoying clicks/pops. Overall it was a pleasure to play test and produced audio of high quality which more than did this New Wave classic justice.
The sleeve is in excellent+ condition. It has next to no rubbing/wear to the edges and corners, and the writing along the spine is all clearly legible. There are of course no splits and no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. There is little to no creasing, barely any ring marks visible and overall it is clean, bright, strong and in superb condition all round. There is however one small(1cm) blotch or mark on the front. This is more noticeable when angled but it can be seen at all times. The sleeve also has a very slight amount of 'bending' or 'wobbling' to it. This is minor however and overall it is in great shape but for the small mark or blotch on the front. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It includes its original plain white poly-lined inner which is in excellent condition. This has no tears, splits or pen marks and only minimal creasing and ring marks. I does have a few light age spots and slight discolouring however.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
