BLONDIE: X-Offender / Man Overboard (´77 / very rare German issue / CHRYSALIS 6155 208 / green label / actually this is the 2nd issue, as the record had already been released a bit earlier on the Private Stock label (but that Private Stock 7" is so rare, that it´s almost unknown to most collectors, and I have to admit, that until last year I wasn´t even aware myself of that Private Stock label pressing!) / p/s with imprint advertising 3 appearances in German TV shows in January 1978 on the frontside / the back sleeve has a very strange text introducing the (still unknown!) group to the public: their musical style is described as a being a mixture of The Shangri-Las, The Ventures, The Chrystals (sic!), The Ronetts (sic!) with a pinch of Beach Boys (apart from the fact, that not everybody will agree with that opinion, it surely was no mean feat, that whover was responsible for this text has managed to get two out of these five group names misspelt!...) / in another funny text line Debbie Harry is being described as "the Marilyn Monroe Of Punk Rock")

DESCRIPTION:
the corners and the top of the p/s are a bit bent / on the backside there´s a tiny tear of 6 mm length into the right side of the p/s / otherwise the p/s is in superb condition, there´s only a light to very light ringwear on the backside and just a minimal trace of a ringwear on the frontside / the vinyl has a few light hairlines on the surface, but there are no "serious" scratches / the labels are cleanWHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
