1st UK Pressing, black label, lamitated sleeve
Condition (sleeve / record): EX / EX
Rarely seen UK first press of one of Blossom Dearie's most outstanding and unconventional albums. Beloved of break-beat fans everywhere for the opening drum pattern on the closer 'I Like London In The Rain' but also notable for the dreamy (and almost psychedelic) opening title track.
Record is beautiful and shiny with no scuffs or scratches and plays perfectly with no background noise or signs of wear.
Fontana black textured label (later pressings were blue) has no wear, writing or spindle marks.
Sleeve has front and rear laminate with very minor creasing, spine writing intact apart from one small ding in centre. Few tiny dings to outer edge but overall this is all straight and true.
Overall a lovely copy of an incredible album. Sorry to see it go - but I can't justify owning two copies!
