Description
This NR auction is for the following record -- An original Blue Note pressing of "Portrait of Sheila" Sheila Jordan Blue Note 9002 / BLP 9002 I have not cleaned cover or record at all and was purchased recently at thrift store - I think record would grade better maybe after cleaning -
Cover is clean - light wear - very clean and glossy - nick to upper edge with light bump to left of that nick / tiny nick to upper part of blue box upper left / exit side has some tip rubbing / rear has a couple of paper creases to right edge pastedown and lower pastedown rear has two small damaged area - all can be seen easily in images. Blue E stamped upper right below Blue Note 9002 and extreme lower right corner has blue ink C32? I believe cover is very easily VG+ but looks like on the Near Mint side of VG+
Interior paper sleeve is old Verve with plain paper sleeve tanned and creased - so this may be missing original sleeve
Side One - VG closer to VG+ has definite signs of being played / some light surface sound but I think this record just needs to be cleaned properly // very glossy on both sides - scratch on When The World Was Young that can be felt but I don't hear any consistent tick - nothing extreme BN-LP-9002-A ear stamp van gelder stamp
Side Two - VG closer to VG+ Cleaner than side 1 but still light wear BN-LP-9002-B ear stamp van gelder stamp
