Description
BLUE CHEER Outsideinside. 1st U.S. Stereo pressing on Philips Records 1968 psychedelic masterpiece!! The first Blue Cheer album is considered the first heavy metal album, I think this one smokes it!! A great album, and my favorite from this psychedelic San Francisco based band. One side was recorded outside, the other side was recorded inside (apparently because the band was so loud, many studios refused to record the band). Pitman pressing according to the runouts in the dead wax.
Vinyl in VG with some lighter marks/scuffs. Plays through great, more like VG+.
Cover in VG with some wear to the spine common for these unipak pressings (see photos). Old sticker residue on front, some paper loss on the back cover, old sticker/tape on fron near opeing, corner dings/wear. There appears to be some discoloration near the opening, looks like the album may have been left near the sun?
