Description

BLUE CHEER - VINCEBUS ERUPTUM

CLASSIC 1968 ROCK ALBUM

12" VINYL LP

ORIGINAL MONO MIX

UK 1st PRESSING

PHILIPS BL 7839

Cover - EX-, some very light creasing and edge wear, very clean, no writing or stickers

Record - EX-, a few very light surface marks, plays perfectly, sounds great (bearing in mind the raw lo-fi recording quality)

Labels - EX-, some light spindle marks otherwise perfect

This is a genuine 1968 first pressing, not a reissue. This rare mono release has several differences from the stereo version and is prized for it's heavier more grungy sound overall. There is a useful piece here about the differences between mono and stereo mixes http://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/blue-cheers-vincebus-eruptum-in-mono.49423/
