In 1967, in the full season of peace & love, formed this San Francisco trio who immediately refused the incense and flowers in the hair, and offered a rough and aggressive sound from the school of Hendrix.
In this, their first album, their version of “Summertime Blues” is a literal slap in the face of the American kids of the day. These ‘blue pills’ construct sounds and riffs, that became no less than foundation of heavy rock.
