PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ THE FOLLOWING:


Due to the eternal discussion about grading, I have decided to employ a personal system which is laid out below. It is based solely on visual inspection of the vinyl unless otherwise stated. The condition of sleeves will be described rather than graded.

Any feedback on whether you find this more/less useful would be appreciated.

10 - Mint and sealed.

9 - Not sealed but looks mint/unmarked/unplayed. May have the faintest sleeve brushes visible under light.

8 - Again, virtually mint. Possible sleeve brushing/minor hairlines and very small amount of spindle trails. Hardly played.

7 - Very lightly played with nothing more than hairlines.

6 - Well looked after with possible hairlines and occasional light needle trails. No heavy/deep scratches whatsoever.

5 - Decent condition with more light marking than 6. (ie around VG)

I do not list anything in worse condition unless it is particularly rare, in whch case it will described.

VINYL - 5.  PLAYS REALLY WELL WITH OCCASIONAL UNOBTRUSIVE BACKGROUND.                      SOUND WOULD PROBABLY IMPROVE FURTHER WITH A PROFFESIONAL                        DEEP CLEAN. ***********************************************************************************                                                                                                        All records strictly graded under bright light, which shows the faintest marks/defects.
I do not clean vinyl before shipping. Please do so before playing any record.
