This is the rare UK 1st pressing of Hawkwind's "Hawkwind" LP from early August 1970 on Phillips Records.

Phillips quit the production with Liberty in late August 1970, after that the labels went black and were made by UA / Liberty. The very few Phillips made labels wer blue, the later "common" labels were black.

A/1 and B/1 matrix on side A and B respectively (means a very early pressing)

The Record is in EX condition with only a few faint paper lightest scuffs that hardly effect playback and some faint lines overall (strictly visually graded btw VG+ and EX- on both sides).

The labels are clean from dirt and writings, have some spindle lines, EX- condition because there is a small 0,5" thin light yellowing mark on side 1.

The cover is in lovely EX condition, with readable and decent spine, no splits, no bents, NO ringwear, with just some wear in the edges. The spine is just fine (this suffers on most cases offered, but not this one). Just plain lovely for a frail thin cardboard made sleeve of 1970. Original E.J. Day in beautiful condition.
