Description

For auction is BLUE MITCHELL's "A Sure Thing" on Riverside RLP 414, MONO, DG, 1962. With Jimmy Heath, Wynton Kelly, Pepper Adams, Clark Terry, others.

SOUND: VG+ or better

It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound is brilliant, clean and delightful!

VINYL: VG+

Visually, the vinyl has routine, minor wear in the form of faint marks and smudges. Nothing that looks too bad, and nothing that affects playback. Blue "mike-and-reel" labels with deep grooves.

COVER: VG/VG+

The cover is nice. The lower right corner is split about 3 inches, and the corner is slightly creased. The rest of the edges are solid with minor wear, and the other corners have minor softening. Front and back are relatively clean. The back has original owner's name in blue ink. Front and back have only minor, routine wear. Overall, very nice cover!

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.

Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.

If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
