BLUE MITCHELL: "BLUE SOUL" LP - On RIVERSIDE Records, RLP-1155. Extremely rare original stereo 1st pressing with the black label & silver lettering/logo. The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick cardboard cover. The personnel: Blue Mitchell/trumpet; Curtis Fuller/trombone; Jimmy Heath/tenor sax; Wynton Kelly/piano; Sam Jones/bass; Philly Joe Jones/drums. The vinyl is in NM condition (beautiful sheen)!! The cardboard cover is in VG++ shape, displays nicely. There is a 2½" seam split at top. Small price written on back at top right corner. No cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. The songs are: Minor Vamp; The Head; The Way You Look Tonight; Park Avenue Petite; Top Shelf; Waverley Street; Blue Soul; Polka Dots And Moonbeams; Nica's Dream.
