Hi! You're looking at an excellent condition Vinyl LP which is a FIRST PRESSING 1980 issue on the Blue Note Records label featuring a classic August 13, 1963 recording by trumpeter BLUE MITCHELL titled "Step Lightly"--the musicians featured on this sextet recording include JOE HENDERSON on tenor saxophone (who also composes the jazz classics "Mamacita" and the title track), LEO WRIGHT on alto saxophone, HERBIE HANCOCK on piano, GENE TAYLOR on bass, and ROY BROOKS on drums.  The LP is a Blue Note Records album released in 1980, a 1st PRESSING on the blue and white Blue Note label, bears the serial number LT-1082, is a Stereo issue and was made in the United States.
This LP Set is in excellent condition and the vinyl should play beautifully overall and is in NEAR MINT- condition on side one with just a few light scuffs that should not significantly affect play, and in VG++ condition on side two with a slight hairline mark, a few moderate scuffs and some light paper scuffs which should not significatly affect play except for possibly a few light and scatered pops in a couple of places and no other significant flaws (the labels has radio call numbers written and stamped on the surfaces); the cover is in VG++ condition with catalogue number stamps on the upper spine end corners of the covers, a couple of slight abrasions on the edges, a small radio stamp on the center right of the front surface, two small sticker shadows on the upper right corner of the front cover, a few slight creases on the edges, a small marked out note next to a title on the back cover and just light shelfwear otherwise but no other significant flaws--it's NOT a cutout!  

Vinyl Grading Standards (unless otherwise indicated, LPs are visually graded)

Mint (or M) – Sealed and effectively perfect with no signs of wear or ever having been played.

Near Mint -- A record with only the slightest evidence of ever having been handled.

Very Good Plus Plus (VG++) A very clean record that has no marks aside from slight scuffs and abrasions caused by removal from a paper inner sleeve or perhaps a few marks on the label caused by a turntable spindle.

Very Good Plus (VG+) A record that has had a number of plays and may have some superficial scuffs, possibly mild to moderate spindle marks and / or possibly hairline scratches on the vinyl, which may produce some intermittent pops and possibly very light background noise.

Very Good (VG) A record that has generally been well cared for, but has seen a fair amount of play, with some scuffing. hairline scratches, spindle marks and / or light scratches.  Should play through well, with the possibility of more pops and more background noise.

Very Good Minus (VG-)  A record with significant scuffs, scratches, and spindle marks that should play through with moderate pops and surface noise, possibly of some duration.

Good (G) A record with will play through, but with significant pops, substantial background noise, and possibly intermittent skipping.

Poor (P) A record with MAJOR issues that will interfere with play, and will possibly be unplayable in part due to damage (I'll only offer an LP in this condition if it's an extreme rarity and / or for cover art display purposes).
