BLUE NOTE 1551 jazz LP JIMMY SMITH Vol. 1 DONALDSON
Artist: JIMMY SMITH
Title: “Jimmy Smith At The Organ, Vol. 1”
Label: BLUE NOTE. MONO deep groove pressing on thick vinyl. Label address (both sides) is “BLUE NOTE RECORDS * 47 West 63rd * NYC” . RVG is etched in the runout with ear symbol on both sides. Catalog number is BLP 1551.
Year: February 1957.
Personnel: Jimmy Smith – organ; Lou Donaldson – alto sax; Kenny Burrell – guitar; Art Blakey – drums.
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is EXCELLENT with full original gloss. Has been played a small number of times and handled with care. There are a couple minor scuffs but no serious or audible marks or problems. Plays beautifully with crisp fidelity. Labels are clean. A very fine playing copy.
JACKET: Jacket is nice VG++. Art work is nice and bright. There are wear spots at the corners, and a bit of chipping on the spine, but no splits or serious problems. Reverse is clean with no writing, stickers, or other problems. Address on reverse at bottom is 43 West 61st St., New York 23.
