PAUL CHAMBERS QUINTET LP - On Blue Note Records, #1564. Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp from 1957. Original MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63RD NYC address on the labels. The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides with the EAR and "RVG" stamp in the trail-off on both sides. Matrix number is hand-etched on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Donald Byrd/trumpet; Cliff Jordan/tenor sax; Tommy Flanagan/piano; Paul Chambers/bass; Elvin Jones/drums. The vinyl is in very glossy VG+ condition (some light marks). The cover is in excellent shape and displays nicely. Small ink stamp on back cover by top right corner. NO significant seam splits, NO writing, NO cut-out marks of any kind. The front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is 47 West 63rd St., New York 23. The songs are: Minor Run-Down; The Hand Of Love; Softly As In A Morning Sunrise; Four Strings; What's New; Beauteous.
