Description
Johnny Griffin, "The Congregation" Blue Note 1580 featuring Johnny Griffin (tenor sax), Sonny Clark (piano), Paul Chambers (bass) and Kenny Dennis (drums) and the superb Cover Design by Andy Warhol and Reid Miles
The record is on BLUE NOTE, MONO (High Fidelity). BLP 1580. Blue Note, White/ Blue text labels, Made in US, 1st pressing original, Deep Groove Vinyl

Both Sides feature RVG and "EAR marks" SEE PHOTOS
The record is in NM condition, perhaps a few very light fine, hard to see, sleeve removal type marks and 1 or 2 fine hairline/faint scuff on side 2, can be seen when tilted in strong light which do not effect the sound. Great MONO Sound, superb AUDIO, a real pleasure, quiet in between tracks with vibrant sound for the music, The labels are extremely clean, no writing, and hard to see, if only 1 or 2 spindle marks. Very few minimal plays
The sleeve is in EX Condition, very minimal storage wear, no splits, unlaminated rear of sleeve which is prone to rubbing and wear is in fine condition featuring the original UK tax stickers. The Laminated Andy Warhol Art front has a nice whiteness and only minor yellowing to edge, has a great spine except a nick to the top paper (should be visible in photo) but no splits, minor corner bumper to lower right front (very common)
