BLUE NOTE BLP4023 DIZZY REECE 5 'Star Bright'
Classic Blue Note session by DIZZY REECE (tp); HANK MOBLEY (ts); WYNTON KELLY (p); PAUL CHAMBERS (b); and ART TAYLOR (d). This has 47 West 63rd St. labels both sides with deep grooves. "RVG" and an 'ear' appear in the run off both sides. Both labels also state "Blue Note Records Inc." and there is an R in a circle below the "E" of "NOTE" on both labels. The cover gives the address as 43 West 61st Sreet, New York 23, N.Y. .

SIDE 2: 'The Rebound'/'I Wished On The Moon'/'A Variation On Monk'
CONDITION/DESCRIPTION: Disc is E (VG+) with some light scratches both sides, visible under a bright 'grading' light. These do not affect the playing. The cover is also E (VG+) with minor corner and damage/creasing including a very small seam split at the bottom right hand corner. There is also a small sticky lsbel in the bottom left hand corner. This would probably 'steam' off. On the back, there is some surface dirt/discolouration and minor creasing in the top right hand corner to the sleeve notes sheet. In the bottom left hand corner there is a silver coloured sticky label showing where the record was originally (?) bought: "LEN DANIELS, 4 Soho Street, Oxford Street, London W1". How many of you remember that shop?
