LOU DONALDSON: "THE TIME IS RIGHT" LP - On BLUE NOTE Records, #4025.   Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp!  Original MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63rd NYC address on both labels.  The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides.  RVG stamped in the trail-off on both sides.  "EAR" symbol etched in the trail-off on side 2.  Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Blue Mitchell/trumpet; Lou Donaldson/alto sax; Horace Parlan/piano; Laymon Jackson/bass; Dave Bailey/drums; Ray Barretto/conga.  The thick laminated cover is in VG++ shape & displays nicely.  Small ½" seam split at top right corner.  No cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York 23.  The vinyl is in VG+ condition, very glossy.  The songs are:  Lou's Blues; Be My Love; Idaho; The Nearness of You; Mack The Knife; Crosstown Shuffle; Tangerine.
