LOU DONALDSON "GRAVY TRAIN" LP - On Blue Note Records, #4079.  Extremely scarce vintage jazz Lp.  MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the NEW YORK USA address on the labels.  "EAR" and RVG stamp in the trail-off on both sides.  Matrix number is hand-etched on both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Lou Donaldson/alto sax; Herman Foster/piano; Ben Tucker/bass; Dave Bailey/drums; Alec Dorsey/conga.  The laminated jacket is in superb shape:  bright & clean, still protected by the original loose plastic wrap, displays wonderfully.  NO seam splits, NO writing, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York 23.  The very glossy vinyl is in VG++ condition with some light marks or scuffs.  Plays well.  Labels are super clean.  The songs are:  Gravy Train; South Of The Border; Polka Dots And Moonbeams; Avalon; Candy; Twist Time; Glory Of Love.
