BLUE NOTE BST 84136 - SOLOMON ILORI And His African-Drum Ensemble - AFRICAN HIGH LIFE. Original US Pressing from 1963 W/ NY USA address on labels,  "Ear" (P for Plastylite record plant) & VAN GELDER Stamped in Dead Wax Both Side.
Personnel Include: Alto Saxophone, Flute,Hosea Taylor;  Bass, Ahmed Abdul-Malik; Congas, Chief Bey, Montego Joe;  Congas, Shekere, Cowbell, Robert Crowder; Congas, Xylophone, Cowbell, Garvin Masseaux; Drum [Sakara Drum], Cowbell,Josiah Ilori; Guitar – Jay Berliner, Solomon Ilori; Vocals, Whistle;  Talking Drum, Solomon Ilori.
Recorded on April 25, 1963 at Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.
