Description
This is an original deep groove LP by The Horace Silver Quintet Plus J. J. Johnson titled "The Cape Verdean Blues" (Blue Note Records BST 84220) (Stereo) (1966) (43 West 61 St. - Van Gelder in dead wax). ------- Performances are by Horace Silver (piano), J. J. Johnson (trombone), Woody Shaw (trumpet), Joe Henderson (tenor sax), Bob Cranshaw (bass) and Roger Humphries (drums). Selections include: "The Cape Verdean Blues", "The African Queen", "Pretty Eyes", "Nutville", "Bonita", and "'Mo Joe". -------- The record looks wonderful with a bright, shiney lustre, and no needle scratches at all. There is one dust scratch. The jacket looks like it was just purchased yesterday. It is still in the original shrink wrap with the $2.50 price sticker on the front. There is just a tiny one inch hole in the shrink wrap at the front..... beautiful!! The original inner sleeve is included. A truely outstanding copy. *********************** Please see my other ads for more classic jazz albums and otherunusual audiophile items including MFSL half speed LP's and gold CD's.
