(Visual Grade) vinyl: VG+ ( a carefully played album; heavy vinyl platter as typical for first pressings all first pressing required marks in deadwax; has micro surface marks,spindle marks; swirls, sleeve lines UNDER DIRECT LIGHTING- no feelable marks!!, no nicks, no gouges, just typical surface play markings; very presentable labels as one can see.
PlayGrade Notes: BAM!!! OPENS WITH that big Blue Note signature sound! Low volume FILLS THE ROOM!! excellent + deep resonance; pressing - do NOT expect an audiophile like super quiet playback- PLAYS VG++ or better on my vintage Thorens' TT system track intros - does play with typical surface noise on quieter in-track-transitions - but thoroughly enjoyable on this seminal 1960 jazz date album music over powers surface sounds- My KLIP tower speakers can handle full volume which this pressing can handle- in TRUE STEREO CHANNELING fills the room, damn fills my whole f-ing house with Blakey, Morgan et al jazz sound!,
COVER: G/G- see the photo; original cover clearly but yeah, not the greatest condition but still presentable- perhaps super clear archival tape to seams and a clean -up would help
