Description
Original mono pressing with "Recording by Rudy Van Gelder" printed on back of sleeve. Professionally cleaned and double-rinsed with distilled water on VPI record cleaning machine. Stored in a fresh Mo-Fi inner sleeve. Play-tested in its entirety on quality phono setup and sounded dazzling. See condition grade and details below. LP ships outside cover to prevent splits and comes in an over-sized Whiplash LP mailer to prevent corner crushing. Bid with confidence. VINYL CONDITION ~ Vinyl plays VG++, with a cosmetic appearance of VG+ (In direct bright light, vinyl shows a few hairlines and a couple other superficial marks. Plays throughout with great dynamic range, and without a hint of surface noise with the exception of one hairline that causes occasional light ticks during the first two minutes of Side Two's "Search For Peace." No groovewear or other signs of heavy use. Clean labels, with exception of a minor blemish to the left of the word "Liberty" on the Side 1 label, as seen in pic.
SLEEVE CONDITION ~ Good (No creases, no funky odors, fully readable spine. All issues can easily be seen in the pics. Water stain across lower portion of cover, underneath photo of McCoy. "75" written in marker on upper left of both front and back. One-inch split at middle of bottom seam. Obvious ringwear/rubwear.)
YOUR LP WILL ARRIVE CLEAN Prior to condition grading, which is done under direct bright light, I clean all vinyl on a VPI record cleaning machine, using Disc Doctor's cleaning fluid and a double-rinse of distilled water. I grade conservatively using the Goldmine Grading Guide. Scale is as follows: NM ... VG+ ... VG ... VG- ... Good ... Poor. Sometimes I'll use VG++ to describe a record or sleeve that has a couple minor superficial marks yet is closer to NM than VG+.
Vinyl ships outside of the album cover, but remains inside a fresh MoFi inner sleeve. LP ships within 24 hours of PayPal payment, using a proper over-sized Whiplash LP mailer. Priority shipping is available upon request and is the best method for ensuring packages arrive safely, as Priority Mail endures much less handling and does not experience the sometimes destructive sort machines that all Media Mail passes thru.
