Description

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Plenty RARE ... thee Original '70s first print on the legendary IDLE MIND PRODUCTIONS (a.k.a. VICKI VINYL)  pressed (back then) as a limited edition on rich BLUE vinyl ...

Probably one of the best performances of the 1975 Tour of The Americas, and a very good recording for the time.

The band is funky, loose, loud, and in the groove. Wild Horses is kind of a clunker in this set (and the only one) just because it doesn't seem like a very good match for this new and funkier sounding (read less white cowboyish) incarnation of the band.

The Stones as they were in 1975... and at the peak of their summertime tour performance. An essential document of this tour and a mighty nice sounding one at that, not to mention one that just is a hell of a lot of fun.

This was an interesting transition period for the Stones as Ron Wood had recently replaced Mick Taylor who had left the band after a chat with Jagger at a December 1974 party at Robert Stigwood's. The LA performances of the tour are arguably the most inspired and intense as the band seemed to take the high profile of the venue and the city quite seriously. Unfortunately, Jagger was into accentuating and slurring vocals in '75 and also carried this style in to the '76 European Tour.

In 1975, the Rolling Stones' July 9-13, 1975, shows at L.A.'s Inglewood Forum resulted in various"limited editions". First, Idle Mind Productions (one of the top underground labels in the 1970s) released the Forum performances on two separate vinyl LPs: Who Went to Church This Sunday?: 1975 Tour of the Americas, Pt. 1 and Charlie Watts and His Fabulous Rolling Stones: 1975 Tour of the Americas, Pt. 2.  Many years ago when one would When you acquire an underground album in the 1970s, sound quality was often a major concern. But this LP offers very good, if imperfect, stereo sound. Even if the taper didn't have access to the Forum's soundboard, she used a high-quality portable stereo cassette recorder. And the Stones are easy to enjoy on crowd-pleasers that include "Brown Sugar," "Street Fighting Man," "Rip This Joint," and "Honky Tonk Women." "1975 NERVOUS BREAKDOWN. L.A.
