Description
Ansermet & The Suisse Romande –
SWAN LAKE –
2LP London ffss CSA-2204 –
UK Pressings
A fine prize, this 2LP set from London features Ernest Ansermet at baton over his favorite L’Orchestra de la Suisse Romande, here playing Tchaikovsky’s SWAN LAKE (complete).
It is an ffss Blueback edition: Box without fault, all corners intact; both ffss records within should play near mint. (Slight dishing may require a record clamp.)
One of the finest performances of the SWAN on records.
For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $16 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
