Description

Blue Ridge Records of North Wilkesboro, NC. Bill & Ralph Church with Gar. Bowers & Johnny Nelson on banjo. Side A, WAY DOWN IN OLE' CAROLINE. Visual VG, playback VG+. Side B, BROKEN VOWS and A BROKEN HEART. Visual VG, playback VG+. Plays great, loud and clear.

Here is my grading system to match up with EBay's grading scale.  I grade my 78's by visual and playback.  I may use +/- for a disc that falls in between grades.  If there are any surface lams, cracks or rim chips I will list them in the description.

M= Almost impossible to find 78.  New and unplayed in the original sleeve.

NM=  A very rare 78.  Looks and plays like new.  No scratches, scuffs, or manufacturers defects.  Labels are perfect.

EX= A highly collectible 78.  Very shiny, will have only a few light scratches or scuffs per side and show no groove wear.   Labels are nearly perfect with only the slightest of defects.  Playback may have a few light ticks or pops.  Surface noise will be minimal.

VG+= A collectible, above average condition 78.   Shiny but will have some dull areas, maybe some light exposure fade.  There will be more than a few light scratches or scuffs per side but no deep scratches.  May have some light groove wear.  Labels will have wear but still look nice.  Playback will have ticks, pops, and surface noise but nothing uncomfortable.

VG=  An average condition 78.  Dull finish, moderate even wear.  Will have numerous light scratches per side, if there are any deep scratches I will note it on the description.  Labels will show wear but are readable.  Playback will have ticks, pops, and surface noise that is becoming uncomfortable but does not over power the music.

G=  Seriously worn and scratched.  Labels may or may not be legible.  Playback is plagued by noise and is uncomfortable to listen too.  Mainly used as a filler for a hard to find disc.

SHIPPING= I will ship anywhere in the world.  If you are outside the US, request an invoice for additional shipping charges.  I prefer to use Priority but will gladly use First Class to help save you some money.  Please be aware that most countries do not allow insurance on First Class packages.   I will not be held responsible for an item that I cannot insure.  If you are inside the US, I use Media Mail.  If you prefer Priority please let me know.

PACKAGING= I ship all 78's in a 200 lb. 13 x 13 x 4" box.  I place the disc inside a plastic sleeve.  I sandwich the disc between cardboard filler pads.  I place shipping peanuts or shredded newspaper above and below the cardboard sandwich to fill the space and absorb shock.  I charge a $3.00 handling fee to cover the cost of boxes and shipping supplies.
