I AM CLEANING OUT MY ENTIRE RECORD COLLECTION. THIS IS ONE OF MANY THAT WILL BE PUT UP FOR SALE.

  1. DUST MY BROOM / CATFISH BLUES on Trumpet label 146. VINYL - FAIR   LABEL - VG. This 1952 release books up to $750 in the Osborne Record Guide. This is one of those very hard to find records from the 50's blues era. There is a crack from the end to the label that appears to be a stress crack, see the photo. I do not believe this record was dropped, I just think that it was in a stack of old 78's at the bottom and the weight just was too much. I learned a old trick from a guy that has been dealing with old 78's since the 60's. He showed me how to keep the record from splitting more by putting a small dab of super glue at the very end. I did that to this one and the crack does not move anymore. Again, if you are a serious blues collector, this is a fill in for your collection at a fraction of the price of one in excellent grade. Worth the buy!
