On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Blues Image called 'Red White & Blues Image' and is a SERIOUSLY rare 1971 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Red/Maroon (Plum) Atlantic label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! IN FACT THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPS EVER RELEASED ON THE PLUM ATLANTIC LABEL!!!! WHILST U.S. PRESSINGS ARE EASY TO FIND - UK 1ST PRESSINGS ARE SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!! THIS LP WAS ONLY EVER RELEASED ON THE UK PLUM ATLANTIC LABEL FOR AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF TIME JUST BEFORE THE CHANGE TO THE GREEN/ORANGE ATLANTIC LABELS. IT WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED AND TODAY IT IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT ONE OF THE RAREST LPS TO FIND ON THIS LABEL!!!! TYPICAL OF THE ATLANTIC LABEL, IT HAS A U.S. COVER WITH A UK CAT. NUMBER 'STICKER' ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER, A UK INNER SLEEVE AND OF COURSE A UK DISC!!!! THIS LP HAD SUCH A TINY PRESSING RUN - I DOUBT VERY MUCH IF UK COVERS WERE EVER PRODUCED!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - WITH A SUPERB RECORD!!!! THIS IS THE 1971 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS RED/MAROON (PLUM) ATLANTIC LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'STICKERED' COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN EVERY RESPECT - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st pressing from 1971 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 2400 120 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Plum Atlantic label (see picture) and is a 1971 Stereo 1st pressing!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, 1 MEGA faint wispy scuffline (only visible under EXTREME light), and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO groovewear, and NO distortion either!!!! The record must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!! STUNNING RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Gatefold 'Stickered' Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO splits, barely ANY edge wear, barely ANY spinal wear, only slight corner wear, barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is VERY flat looking indeed), NO rubbing to the cover front, barely ANY rubbing to the cover back, and NO writing!!!! Most importantly the UK sticker on the reverse of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with only VERY slight yellowing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPS ON THE UK PLUM ATLANTIC LABEL - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
