1950's BLUES, R&B, DOOWOP, ROCK, ROCKABILLY, BOPPERS
CONDITION: E-/V++ s.2 inaudible haze
Perkins was Harry Glenn's(Glenn, Mar-vel) first Black artist. This is the SAME Bob Perkins, talented and sadly under-recorded, alto sax player, that recorded on the Planet/Old Swingmaster Chicago labels. I'd estimate this was cut in 1952 or 53. There's no 45 issue.
s.1 Jump Blues, s.2 is R&B with TRIO vocal. Possibly unreleased as in the middle of the trio vocal you can hear, "Shoot the n****r."
