Description

Leroy Carr: How Long, How Long Blues Part 2 / Prison Bound Blues. Vocalion 1241. (1928).  V/V+.
Carr’s second part of his huge, career defining hit “How Long, How Long”  - so popular in fact that he recorded a further 2 parts! That popularity is reflected in the fact that copies are almost always (V). The other side "Prison Bound" is one of Carr's very best records - imbued with his unique  wistful, poetic melancholy. Plays clear and well to grade. I have long experience of packing 78 records.
