Description

You are bidding on a rare, original, vintage, blues-soul LP record album from 1964 entitled, "The Blues of Johnny Guitar Watson", on the Chess record label, #13494. This is the rare promotional issue. Both sides of the labels stated, "DJ COPY". Also, on the front cover, is a promotional, rare sticker that states, "NO MATTER WHAT YOUR FORMAT BE IT POP, JAZZ, R & B- BY ALL MEANS LISTEN TO THIS ALBUM". The labels are in excellent condition with bright and vibrant colors. The vinyl is in very good plus to excellent condition with a few minor spots of wear. I could find one minute, small, light scuff and one light and a few faint to light scratches. The mirror-like vinyl gloss is tremendous. The jacket is in good plus, if not better condition. The front cover colors are bright and vibrant. There is a number "10" written on the front cover in red marker, toward the top center. There is light surface, corner, and edge wear. There is light soiling on the white background on the back side cover. This soiling is a little more around the edges on the back cover. However, there are no edge splits with the exception of the shortest of starts at the upper right. This is a 3-day, no reserve auction.
