Description
Up for auction is a copy of Tell Me b/w Bo Street Runner by the Bo Street Runners, issued in 1964 on Decca. This is an acetate of the single. I don’t have a copy of the original 45 to compare it with, but I assume it’s the same versions as released. The acetate looks like it might be unofficial, but it’s difficult to tell. So here’s all I know: I purchased this along with acetates by The Zombies & The Who from a reputable dealer in the early 90s. The other acetates were certainly official. The sound from this one is good enough to have been taken from the master tape; it’s certainly not dubbed from vinyl (which I guess would have been the only available source when I bought this acetate).
Conditon: a few wispy marks, a few clicks & pops. Generally sounds great. VG+, verging on EX. Label on one side only.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item in pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
