I watched the Runners debut 'Bo Street Runner' on UK TV in 1964. It was on the 'Ready Steady Win' contest. A jerky harmonica driven Brit R&B number. They scored a Decca recording contract as winners. But the next year 1965 they had left and were taken up by Columbia. And they had morphed into a mod soul R&B band with this their next 45. A double sided James Brown pigeon jerker. Clean labels. In the company sleeve. A few feeble lines. The vinyl is a nice VG++.
