Debut 7": Dry Up Those Tears/The World Is Crying Out For Love

A BOB DESPER 7"!? Seriously unbelievable! This is an incredibly rare 45 as it represents not only another catalog piece in the oeuvre the very illusive Bob Desper, but it also demonstrates his dynamic range as an artist. This private press 45 shows another side of Bob Desper's loner, downer folk. Just as sparse as the music on the infamous LP, here Bob plays with piano, hammond, and electric guitar accompaniment . Think George Harrison, or even Splinter -- yes, with the sparse but lush, folky production, this sits well with many of the forgotten Dark Horse releases. These two songs were recorded when Desper was probably 19. It's an incredible find. the condition is VG+. you might note the photos have been blurred. they are the only ones i had on file.
