Description
BOB DOWNES OPEN MUSIC, Electric City, 1970, Jazz-Rock/Electronic, Vertigo swirl, Vertigo, 6360 005, Australian pressing, very rare and very collectible - beautiful vinyl, water damaged cover, hence lower starting price.
VINYL: Virtually faultless; a couple of light marks on side two. Looks virtually unplayed. Vertigo swirl label is clean.
GATEFOLD COVER: G+ to VG- ... Light shelf wear but has a little surface damage bottom left and along the centre of bottom edge from damp - this is much larger in the centre spread where the cover has obviously stuck together at the bottom. There's a little surface damage on the back. That said it is still quite presentable.
OVERSEAS BUYERS: Please note I have discounted postage (with tracking) to a flat rate $20. Australian buyers postage (with tracking) is discounted to a flat rate $5. If you want a signature then it will be more.
MY GRADING SYSTEM
(M) MINT = VINYL absolutely perfect in every way, never played.
(NM) NEAR MINT = VINYL nearly perfect, no obvious signs of wear. COVER should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes.
(VG++) VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS = VINYL may have scuff marks, very light scratches and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly, with only barely detectable crackles; a slight noise at the beginning is allowable. COVER may only have the slightest signs of normal wear.
(VG+) VERY GOOD PLUS = VINYL has light scratches, may have light crackle or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally, and no more loudly than the music. COVER has normal wear such a ring wear, creases, wear at corners, edges & spine.
(VG) VERY GOOD = In between G+ and VG+
(G+) GOOD PLUS = VINYL has scratches, may have continuous crackles, but not too many, a few pops maybe present and has obvious surface noise. COVER has more than normal wear and tear. Still will be an OK listen, but perhaps more a filler for a collector.
