A sensational and now quite rare original 1978 US white-label demo issue of this hard to find 12” EP from Bob Dylan taken from his self-made movie ‘Renaldo and Clara’ which starred Bob , Joan Baez, Sara Dylan and Allan Ginsburg.
This particular copy is one of the rare CBS Gold-Stamped issues which indicates 100% authenticity ( see photo of back jacket above ) and is certainly a highly collectable item for Dylan fans.
What adds further interest is the additional label stamp on Side 2 “CAMPIONE GRATUITO” which translates from Italian to “Free Sample” so I am guessing this copy was obtained via a CBS executive or rep in Italy somewhere long the line, having been originally exported from the US if that makes any sense.

Vinyl A fantastic piece. Difficult to tell if it has seen a turntable at all as there are no spindle or vinyl marks, has magnificent shine throughout and really looks choice. Rated Near Mint.
Labels : Clean.
Sleeve : The standard US white ‘demo jacket’ here with the addition of the original sticker on the front and the Gold ‘promo’ stamper on the back cover. No writing or splits and pretty difficult to fault.
