You are bidding on an absolute 1st STEREO Pressing of the BOB DYLAN LP "BLONDE ON BLONDE" on Columbia Records (C2S 841) [Matrix #'s:  Record 1, Side 1 - XSM 113765-2C; Record 1, Side 2 - XSM113766-2C;  Record 2 Side 1 - XSM113767-2C; Record 2 Side 2 - XSM113768-2C].  All Matrix Numbers on all 4 sides are STAMPED, none are handwritten!  On this particular album, there was no "-1A" matrix number issued.  (My understanding is that the traditional "-1A" matrix number was issued only on the extremely rare white label promo.)  Also, another identifying mark as to this being a true first stereo pressing is the fact that "Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again", was printed on the label on side 2 of the first pressing as "Memphis Blues Again"  The next pressing had the song printed on side 2 as "Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The".  Record 1, Side 1 of the vinyl is rated as NEAR MINT.  Record 1, Side 2 is rated as a EX+/Near Mint. Record 2, Side 1 is rated as EX/EX+.  Record 2, Side 2 is rated as EX/EX+.  The cover is rated as VG+.  (SEE ALL PHOTOS).  While the inside of the gatefold has the two rare "girls" photos, one being Claudia Cardinale, the real rarity about this very first pressing is the fact that 8 of the songs were later remixed, starting almost immediately after the initial 2C pressing.  The remixes were included a side at a time over a period of about 2 years, and by late 1969, all 8 remixes were included on the album.  The 8 songs that were later remixed are:  Pledging My Time, Visions Of Johanna, I Want You, Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat, Temporary Like Achilles, Absolutely Sweet Marie, 4th Time Around & Obviously 5 Believers.  THESE ORIGINAL STEREO MIXES HAVE NEVER BEEN RE-RELEASED IN ANY FORMAT, INCLUDING NOT BEING ON ANY OF THE MULTITUDES OF CD ISSUES!  BEFORE YOU BID ON THIS ALBUM, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING, AS, THERE WILL BE NO RETURNS ON THIS LP:  All 4 sides of this album play through without any skips or sticks.  There are a few little clicks here and there, but not too many.  HOWEVER - during the bridge of "Temporary Like Achilles" there are 4 or 5 semi-loud "pops", but the song plays through all the way without any sticking or skipping.  I did make a cdr recording of this album before putting it up for sale, and am therefore able to verify that it plays through on all 4 sides without any sticking or skipping. This LP has been professionally cleaned with the VPI Vacuum Power Cleaning Machine, using LAST Power Last Record Cleaner.  The records themselves are in soft, Anti Static, Non Scratching, Plasticizer Protective inner sleeves, and the jacket is inside a clear re-sealable plastic outer sleeve.  NOTE:  This LP is very accurately VISUALLY GRADED ONLY, it is NOT PLAY graded.    Original Baggie inner sleeves are also included.   FREE SHIPPING TO THE LOWER 48 STATES!
