Description
Here is what www.bobsboots.com says about this album:-
2000 copies were pressed of this rare 1972 European bootleg. Even though it has all the earmarks of a USA piece, (Down to the insert that reads "Oakland, Calif.") It was manufactured in England by Roach Records. The black and white wrap-around insert has a Daniel Kramer photo of Dylan on the front. The back has the title, songs, and roach logo.
The label is blank yellow.
For sale here is a VERY VERY RARE record by BOB DYLAN called "Forty red white and blue shoe strings"
This is another one from my soon to be ex-collection
and as good as all the others.!!! The plain white sleeve has a timing sheet cellotaped on the back but NO TEARS or WRITING ON IT!!!!
The HEAVY DUTY vinyl has NO SCRATCHES or MARKS it and
still retains the black sheen showing how seldom I played this record.Perhaps 20-25 times since I bought it in 1972.!!!!
This record comes with its ORIGINAL INNER sleeve. So often these go missing but NOT HERE.
There are NO TEARS AND NO WRITING on the inner though there are a couple of MINOR creases.
As it is made of thin paper it is amazing it has remained in this condition after all these years.!!!!

Note:
+ Interestingly enough, "I'm ready" is not Bob, but is actually John Hammond (folk singer, CBS crony , Dylan producer, and all around advocate of Bob and his material). It was Hammond who was solely responsible for Bob being signed to Columbia Records. After the first album bombed, the pressure came down from CBS to drop Dylan, who became known by the Label insiders as "Hammond's Folly".
