          BRISTOLS No.1 RARE RECORD SHOP         *Item for sale*      BOB DYLAN ~ BLONDE ON BLONDE ~ 1966 UK STEREO CBS 66012 

This is an original 1966 UK Stereo first pressing of "Blonde on Blonde", Bob Dylan. 
Correct first pressing cover, with B2 track listing as "stuck inside of mobile with thee", 
original orange CBS inner sleeves, and earliest A1/B1/C1/D1 matrix .

The covers in excellent condition, a light crease along the vertical spine from opening the 
gatefold, otherwise uncreased with clean edges and spines.  Both original inners have 
just started to split on the bottom, no surprise considering the heavyweight  
pressings and the thinness of the inners. One or two spindle marks on the labels of record 
two, hardly any sign of spindle marks on record one. Pictures below show how clean they 
are, (the colour difference in the photos is just the lighting).

The vinyl surfaces themselves are consistent with light use, the odd hairline here and 
there, no heavy marks at all, no heavy scuffs etc. The sound is fantastic on these first 
pressings, there's virtual silence between tracks and a bright clean sound throughout, 
this copy isn't mint, but it's very lightly played and sounds great.
