AGE:

As far as I can tell, this copy is a 1969 release, according to a great Dylan site, Searching For A Gem.

Smooth orange labels, Claudia Cardinale photo, mixed stampers and Big Ben Music, listed as song publisher on the labels.

'Stuck Inside of Mobile With Thee' is misprinted on the cover, but 'Memphis Blues Again' on label.

My father is sure he bought it from Reddingtons Rare Records (Birmingham, England) in October 1968, however...but it's definitely after 1966 and before 1970/1...

GRADING

COVER IS EXCELLENT

Has very light wear to corners, very clean, bright and glossy.

Inside has a cluster of small creases at bottom centre (pictured), and some minor discolouration to top and bottom edges, which is commensurate with age.

SPINE IS EXCELLENT PLUS

Very nice, very clean and virtually NO creasing!

LABELS ARE NEAR MINT

Absolutely gorgeous!! Clean, bright with NO spindle marks. Remarkable.

I've looked under bright lights with a magnifying glass. Not a single spindle track.

VINYL (Visual) IS EXCELLENT PLUS

Superb!!

I'm being very conservative here. There is some dust, and some super light sleeve scratches, but they DO NOT AFFECT THE SOUND.

VINYL (Audio) IS NEAR MINT

I've just listened to it through headphones, with my amp set flat and the sound is amazing. Sometimes, the stereo pressings can be a little thin, as the bass was mixed lower, but this copy is so warm and rich but still sparkly and precise. A stunning player. If I didn't have another copy, I would not be selling it.

There is minimal surface noise even on the run ins. There was a couple of light clicks on Side 4 but when I replayed it, they were gone, so I imagine it was static build up from the paper sleeves.

A deep clean would eradicate this.

In conclusion, I think you would be hard pressed to find a better copy than this.

Good luck!

????????????

I play test all my LPs.

I grade conservatively and honestly, as I am a long-time record collector and get tired of buying LPs that are not 'as described'.

There will be super light surface scratches, generally caused by paper sleeves. If they do not affect the sound, I don't class them as a fault.

Any scratches that aren't super-light surface ones will be mentioned, as will any clicks, pops or other intrusive noise.

Any writing or sticker marks will also be mentioned, along with serious creases, ring wear, spindle tracks or seam splits.

I pack the LPs well, out of the sleeve, in proper mailers.

Unpaid Item Assistant is set to automatically begin after 48 hours, so please get in touch if you need more time.

I will combine postage, where possible, but drop me a message first, so I can check the weight and decide the best Royal Mail service to use.

I will ship outside the UK but only via EBay Shipping Programme, as I don't have time to haggle over shipping costs.

I always give a full refund if you're not happy, but please return the item in the condition I sent it.

I'm an honest person and a long time record lover, so any issues will be sorted out quickly.

I grade carefully, but I am human, so might make a mistake occasionally, so let me know if you want to return a record.

Please buy with confidence and have a look at my feedback.

Thanks.
